Grilled toast with ricotta and pear
Are you having another tasteless lunch at the office? Or did you bring a sticky sandwich in your handbag? Well, spice things up your weekend by making a grilled toast with ricotta and pear. Your tastebuds will thank you later. Seriously, it’s super easy to put on the table and much more festive then a boring sandwich!
What do you need for 4 toasts?
- 4 (gluten free) slices of bread
- 150 grams of ricotta
- 1 pear
- a sprig of thyme
- a small cup of walnuts
- 2 tablespoons of honey
How to make a grilled toast with ricotta and pear?
Set the oven in grill mode and wait for it to be hot.
Spread the ricotta on top of the toasts and put it in the oven for 15-20 minutes; when the ricotta starts to darken a little you can take them out of the oven.
Rinse the pear and cut in quarters. Take out the core and then start slicing the quarters. Put the slices of pear on top of the toast with ricotta. Chop the thyme and sprinkle on top of it. Then drizzle the honey on top of the toasts and finish with some ground pepper.
